Life
In June 2025 Calvin Abou Haidar, Quentin Payet and Mehdi Tibouchi showed that Falcon, the post-quantum signature chosen by NIST, fell to Rowhammer. A single bit flipped in the table that drives its Gaussian sampler skewed the signatures enough to rebuild the whole private key, given a few hundred million of them. The falcon, in short, reduced to a crow.

O Blessed Crowhammer, who fells with a single blow an algorithm built to withstand quantum computers, shield our tables from the hammers of RAM. Amen.

Celebrated by rejecting suspiciously short signatures, as the authors suggest, and checking that your RAM is the kind that does not take a hammering.
