"Clavicula Centrifugarum". A .LNK shortcut on a USB stick was enough to run code the moment the folder was opened, and that is how Stuxnet reached Iran's air-gapped centrifuges. It was the first known cyber-weapon to cause physical damage, and it showed that every air-gapped network has someone carrying a USB stick. From that year on, nation states officially joined the catalogue of attackers.
