"Data Remota Servitus". In the year of the millennium bug, the real danger was an IIS component nobody knew was switched on: RDS DataFactory ran commands for anyone who asked politely. Rain Forest Puppy showed it to the world, and for years it was the defacers' favourite skeleton key. The year taught that every feature installed by default is a door, and that default-open doors eventually get walked through.
